I offer mental health counseling and clinical supervision and consultation.
I was born in Papua New Guinea, and spent my early years growing up in the south Pacific islands among a multitude of races, cultures, and languages. From there I moved to the United States, injecting myself into yet another culture, to begin my collegiate academic career at Letourneau University in Longview, Texas. Having completed my undergraduate degree I then moved to Dallas and earned my Masters degree in Professional Counseling. I worked with Lifeologie Counseling in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas Texas to start off my post-graduate professional experience.
I now reside in Salem, Oregon, with my husband and three playful pups; Daisy, Misty, and Moose. I am the Chief Operations Officer at The Trauma Academy Northwest, and I provide mental health counseling as well as supervision and consultation for therapists.
At the core of my beliefs is that healing is for everyone and therapy is for anyone. No matter where you find yourself, be it at rock bottom, in a dark place, or simply in need of someone to talk to – and really listen – therapy could be beneficial for you. I am excited to use all the tools we have available at our fingertips – from time tested and dependable talk therapy to cutting edge neurobiology – to heal the minds and hearts and souls of our community.
Being a lifelong learner, I continually seeking to further my knowledge about therapy, brains, relationships, and how they all work together. I hope to see all my clients find a place where a journey towards real healing can begin.
